The Metro
High School, a science, technology, engineering, and math
magnet school for the 16 Franklin County school districts,
occupies a 50,000 square foot office building adjacent to
The Ohio State University in the 315 Research and Technology
Corridor. The first phase of renovation for the incoming freshman
class created student spaces that allow in as much natural
light as possible while creating small, flexible spaces adaptable
to a wide array of learning activities. The creativity of
the client working with Lincoln Street Studio helped achieve/complete
Phase I with a minimal budget. Laboratory facilities will
be the key portion of Phase II.
