A state of the art facility will create a dynamic learning environment

The Wellington School is an independent, coeducational, Pre-K through 12, college preparatory day school that celebrates excellence in character, academics, the arts, and athletics. Each student is inspired to discover and strive to meet his or her unique potential.

The scope of the project includes renovated and new facilities to meet growing enrollment to create a school that reflects Wellington's unique identity. Challenged by a restricted site, strategic planning was essential. The master plan achieved the sense of a new school, elevated on a land bridge with an athletic field’s lawn as a frontispiece. Evaluation of re-use potentials defined a strategy of selective demolition and renovation, allowing a new school identity to emerge. Careful phasing will allow the school to remain operational during construction.
